Tüzün Trafo is now in the South American Market after Africa and Europe

Tüzün Trafo makes a name for itself in the South American market as well as the African and European markets.

By increasing its initiatives and investments, Tüzün Trafo has attracted a wide range of companies in the world market. It became the rising value of Mersin with its exports of 3 million dollars in 2022.

Tüzün Trafo, a family company, continues to grow and contribute to the Turkish economy by displaying a successful management approach with Hasan Tüzün, chairman of the board, and vice presidents Mehmet Tüzün and Hakkı Tüzün.

“We added our Fully Automatic machines to the production line.”

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mehmet Tüzün, stated that they are constantly investing in Tüzün Trafo, which was established in 2019 and produces at world standards and said, “We are a company that manufactures transformers. 95 of our products are export products. We export to the Netherlands, Belgium, Serbia, Germany, Greece, and African countries. All of these products are designed and produced according to the standards of the relevant countries. Apart from this, we exported to many countries in 2022. We added our fully automatic machines to the production line. Following this, last month we had a fully automatic vacuum oven custom-made. Since our previous furnace was not sufficient for our capacity, we included the vacuum fully automatic transformer furnace, which dries and dehumidifies many transformers before pumping oil, into our business in order to make larger transformers. We determined this according to our own needs. "We currently have 25 personnel, and we continue our work and production this way," he said.

“We produce according to each country's own standards”

Stating that each country produces according to its own standards, Tüzün said, “There are records that we call TR2 in European standards. We manufacture transformers according to these records. Belgium's standards are different. The Netherlands is different. Germany is different. Electricity in the world has to be produced somewhere and transported to another place. Because the users do not live in a certain center in the world, these can be industries or households, that is, they are settled in the world, but energy production facilities, these are dams, solar and wind power plants, are located somewhere else, that is, they are a part of the electricity. It requires moving from place to place. This happens with transmission lines. In order to transport the produced energy 500 kilometers away, you need to establish a transmission line. Larger transformers are used here. Because you need to increase the voltage and decrease the current. Here too, it is important to ensure minimum loss. In other words, it is thanks to these transformers that the increased voltage is reduced again and made ready for use. For example, it reduces 30000 volts to 400 volts. On the contrary, it can be increased. "Our transformers currently on the production line are distribution transformers," he said.

“We closed 2022 with 3 million dollars. “

Stating that they market their transformers to be used in distribution networks to developed countries, Tüzün said, “We generally sell transformers to solar systems and wind systems. We are currently receiving requests from South America. We have been working with Africa since our establishment. That is, 95 of our production is currently in Europe, and the remaining 5 is in Africa. 50 transformers are installed on the band monthly. We closed 2022 with 3 million dollars. Even though we are a new company, this figure is quite good. We have gained rapid momentum and aim to increase the number. We are full until June 2023.” said.

“We started a new investment plan. “We will expand the European market.”

Stating that they do not plan to enter the Far East market, Tüzün said, “It is very difficult for us to sell because China has semi-finished materials and raw materials, first of all, the manufacturers are located there and transportation is difficult. We are considering further expanding our market in Europe. Next year, we will be manufacturing medium power and power transformers with our investments. That's why we started the investment plan.” said.

Hasan Tüzün: “We believe that we will have a say in the world market. Stating that their aim is to represent both Mersin and Turkey in the world market in the best way by growing Tüzün Trafo with investments every year, Hasan Tüzün, Chairman of the Board of Tüzün Trafo, said: “Every year in growth We aim to be 3-4 times the previous year. Marketing our products throughout Europe and contributing to the city and country economy are among our most important goals. In this regard, we want to increase our 5 thousand square meters closed area, which is located in our total area of 50 thousand square meters, to 15 thousand square meters and increase our capacity. We believe that we will have a say in the world market with the qualified and quality production we have made since the day we were founded. “For this purpose, we are working hard to achieve our goals,” he said.
